This web interface provides access to the waveforms included in the ESM database.
Registered users can select waveforms, do their own processing and save the resulting waveforms on their personal computer.
The workflow implemented in this software is based on the following paper:
Record Processing in ITACA, the New Italian Strong-Motion Database, by Paolucci R., Pacor F., Puglia R., Ameri G., Cauzzi C., Massa M. (2011). It appears as chapter 8 of the book Earthquake Data in Engineering Seismology - Predictive Models, Data Management and Networks by Sinan Akkar, Polat Gülkan, Torild van Eck (Editors). ISBN: 978-94-007-0151-9 (Printed version) 978-94-007-0152-6 (E-book version). This book is volume 14 of the series Geotechnical, Geological, and Earthquake Engineering, published by Springer Netherlands in 2011.

The core engine underneath this web frontend is a Python script ported from a previous MATLAB program written in the framework of the S4 Project (DPC-INGV agreement 2007-2009) by Rodolfo Puglia under the supervision of Dino Bindi and Roberto Paolucci.
Porting in Python and this PHP web interface are written in the framework of the EPOS Project by Rodolfo Puglia and Emiliano Russo under the coordination of Lucia Luzi.
